輕微可以使用針灸止痛並且使用活血化瘀，溫經止痛中藥處理，嚴重時還是要轉介至婦產科做開刀處理，朱古力瘤雖然不會危及生命，若是囊壁反覆的破裂、癒合，其發作次數越多，引起的盆腔粘連越重，盆腔粘連引起的腹痛等症狀，更麻煩的是會導致不孕。

中醫臨床總結導致經痛的原因主要是氣滯、血虛、寒凝、血瘀，因此中醫在舒緩經痛診症中是對體質作出治療，必須辨證論治因人施治，而非單單舒緩止痛。經痛的原因也有可能不只是子宮問題，而是五臟氣血或肝氣鬱結等問題，因此問診時必定會詳細查問患者疼痛的情況，也會同時了解是否情緒壓力所造成。

土瓜灣

中醫有「百病寒為先」的說法，「體寒」又稱「虛寒」，指體質虛且寒。虛寒是因為體內陰氣過剩導致身體各項機能減弱，令身體無法吸收足夠熱量所致。中醫認為婦科疾病無非出於寒或源於氣，病因皆因是子宮和卵巢部位寒氣太重和虛弱等原因造成。
